Memory Bear Questions

What type of clothing can you use to make my memory teddy bear?
I have created beloved memory teddy bears out of many types of fabric: cotton or flannel shirts, denim, sweatshirts, sweaters, blouses, pajamas, jeans and even neck warmers. I can also make your special bear out of a fur coat, fur stole or hat. At this time I do not make bears out of leather jackets.
How much clothing do you need to make a bear?
You have several sizes and types of bears to choose from and that will affect the amount of clothing needed to make your memory bears. I can make several small teddy bears out of one adult shirt. I typically recommend 1-2 pieces of adult clothing for a medium or large memory bear or 8-10 pieces of child size clothing. If you have a limited amount of clothing but would like a number of teddy bears made, we can discuss what we can do to make it happen.
Should I wash the clothing?
Yes, please, and then fold nicely when you place into a plastic bag before boxing them up.
Are the Memory Bears child or baby safe?
No, these are collectible teddy bears. Memory Bears by Laura Lynn and Teddies by Laura Lynn are not toys. They have small parts which could be choking hazards. These memory bears are made to hold and hug, but are not for playing with by children.
What payments do you accept?
You may pay for your order with PayPal, Venmo or credit card (processed through PayPal). Payments made via check can be arranged, just contact me.
How long does it take to receive my bear(s)?
The amount of time can vary based on how many orders have been received, how large the order is and the type of fabric used. (Fur coat bears take longer than bears made from shirts for example.)
In general, if your order is for 1-5 bears, the lead time from when I receive your clothing, is approximately 4-6 weeks. An order of 6-10 bears takes approximately 7-10 weeks.
